WMC 300E+ Introduces Innovative Three-Wheel EV Designed for First Responders

The WMC 300E+ is a new electric three-wheeler motorcycle created to support first responders in the UK, marking a move toward electrifying emergency services. This vehicle follows WMC’s earlier success with the WMC250EV, known for setting speed records in the electric bike category.

Unlike most electric motorcycles that are primarily aimed at individual consumers, the WMC 300E+ is designed with the demands of fleet vehicles and emergency responders in mind. WMC founder Robert White pointed out that existing e-bikes focus on retail users, leaving fleet operations with charging limitations that don’t meet their needs. The 300E+ steps in to fill this gap with a more practical solution for constant availability.

At its core, the 300E+ is powered by a custom-built battery designed by Mahle Powertrain. This battery uses Lithium Cobalt Oxide and Nickel Manganese Aluminium chemistry and is arranged in a ‘T’ shape to fit the bike’s three-wheel frame.

With Mahle’s M³x module, the battery achieves better thermal control and stable performance. It carries 11.9 kWh of energy, integrating a DC-DC converter for direct connection to the motor and 12V systems.

The 300E+ can be charged in less than 15 minutes using a standard CCS charger, making it highly efficient for emergency use. Even with its innovative battery system, the bike provides storage space for a full-face helmet and can power essential equipment like sirens and radios.

This three-wheeler has a top speed of 160 km/h and can travel up to 160 km in demanding emergency scenarios, extending to 200 km in regular operation. WMC’s patented V-Duct, running through the bike’s center, minimizes drag, boosting both stability and performance, making it an ideal choice for first responders who require speed and efficiency.
