Teaser Reveals Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Ahead of Upcoming India Launch

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is poised for its Indian debut in the near future. Ducati India has already hinted at the motorcycle through social media teasers, and although an official launch date has yet to be announced, it’s anticipated to occur within the next week.

The Multistrada V4 RS has been included in Ducati India’s lineup, marking it as the most powerful and performance-focused model in the Multistrada series. The ‘RS’ designation draws inspiration from Audi’s high-performance ‘RS’ cars, promising a significant upgrade over the standard Multistrada models with enhanced features and power.

Under the hood, the 1,103 cc V4 engine delivers 180 hp at 12,250 rpm and peak torque of 118 Nm at 9,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a bi-directional quick-shifter.

Despite its increased power, the Multistrada V4 RS is lighter by 3 kg compared to the Multi V4 Pikes Peak, tipping the scales at 225 kg. It incorporates a new Titanium sub-frame and Marchesini forged Aluminium wheels, along with minor redesigns at the rear.

The bike is equipped with a 48 mm Ohlins USD fork, fully adjustable, and a fully adjustable Ohlins TTX36 monoshock at the rear, complemented by an Aluminium single-sided swingarm. Braking is handled by twin 330 mm discs with Brembo Stylema 4-piston calipers at the front and a 265 mm single disc with a Brembo 2-piston caliper at the rear.

In terms of technology, the Multistrada V4 RS features multiple power and riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, vehicle hold, and a radar system. It also boasts a 6.5-inch TFT display, full LED lighting, carbon fibre accents, and a type-approved Akrapovic muffler.

Anticipated to be priced between ₹30 lakh and ₹35 lakh (ex-showroom), the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS will compete with the BMW S 1000 XR once it launches in India.
