2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek: A First Glance at the Adventurous Model

2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek (Nissan)

For 2025, Nissan is extending its Rock Creek Edition off-road enhancements from the larger Pathfinder SUV to the more compact Rogue, building on the Rogue’s 2024 update. The Rock Creek Edition imparts a rugged aesthetic to the Rogue, featuring a distinctive roof rack, all-terrain tires, and various styling tweaks. Although the Rock Creek retains the standard Rogue’s 8.2 inches of ground clearance and the same approach, departure, and breakover angles, it introduces some off-road-inspired elements.

The Rogue Rock Creek Edition benefits from “off-road-tuned” shocks and 235/65R17 Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires fitted on 17-inch wheels. Off-road features include a 360-degree parking camera with an “off-road” mode active up to 12 mph, water-resistant faux leather seats, and hill descent control.

Distinctive touches in the Rock Creek package include Lava Red stitching on the seats and dashboard, “Rock Creek” embossed on the front seats, and striking orange accents on the exterior. The 17-inch wheels have a matte black finish with Lava Red highlights, and the front fascia and door mirrors are finished in gloss black, giving the Rogue a bold, rugged look.

The Rock Creek Edition slots between the Rogue’s S and SV trims and the higher SL and Platinum trims. It features the same 201-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and all-wheel drive. Equipment mirrors the SV trim with an 8.0-inch touchscreen but lacks the digital gauge cluster and Google Built-In functionality.

The 2025 Rogue sees a general price increase, with the Rock Creek Edition debuting at $36,810. This positions it $1,285 below the Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road and $650 above the Honda CR-V EX-L AWD. The base Rogue S starts at $30,620, reflecting a $935 increase from the previous year.
