The eagerly awaited 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz is set to hit U.S. dealerships later this year, and Volkswagen has officially disclosed the pricing details for this electric Microbus. The starting price is set at $61,545, with the top-tier First Edition model reaching beyond $71,000.
The ID.Buzz will be available in two primary trims alongside a special First Edition variant. The entry-level model, called the Pro S, is the most cost-effective option. It comes with a single-motor rear-wheel-drive system that delivers 282 horsepower.
With a price tag just over $61,000, the Pro S offers a comprehensive list of standard features, including 20-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, power-operated sliding rear doors, a power liftgate, and a three-zone climate control system.
For those seeking additional features, the Pro S Plus trim starts at $65,045. This version enhances the package with a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a head-up display, a trailer hitch, and a “flexboard” system that provides a flat load floor when the rear seats are folded down.
An optional upgrade for $4,500 adds a second electric motor, increasing the power output to 335 horsepower and equipping the vehicle with all-wheel drive. This configuration also includes a heated windshield and standard captain’s chairs, which are available as a $695 option on the rear-wheel-drive model. Additionally, a panoramic glass roof can be added to either powertrain option for $1,495.
The ID.Buzz First Edition, priced at $67,045, comes fully loaded with all the features of the lower trims, along with some exclusive enhancements. This version features unique wheels and badges, heritage-style floor mats in all three rows, roof-mounted crossbars, and an electrochromic-tinted glass roof. Opting for all-wheel drive on the First Edition adds $4,500 to the price, bringing the total to $71,545.
In terms of driving range, the rear-wheel-drive ID.Buzz has been estimated by the EPA to offer 234 miles on a full charge, while the all-wheel-drive version is slightly lower, with an estimated 231 miles per charge.
