Rob Schneider is seeking reconciliation with his daughter, Elle King, after King criticized him on Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast. During her appearance, King expressed frustration with Schneider’s recent anti-drag and anti-LGBTQ comments and described their relationship as toxic, stating that she currently has no interest in communicating with him.
In response to King’s remarks, Schneider appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show, expressing regret for his past shortcomings. “Parenting can be quite challenging,” Schneider remarked. “I want to tell my daughter Elle that I love her deeply and wish I could have been the father she needed when I was younger.
I hope she can find it in her heart to forgive me for my failings. My love for her is unwavering, and I wish only the best for her and her child, Lucky.” Schneider continued, “I feel terrible about the situation and hope she knows I don’t take her comments personally.”
When Carlson inquired about Schneider’s restraint in his response, Schneider replied, “Loving someone completely means wanting their happiness and healing above all else.”
In recent years, Schneider’s conservative views have sparked controversy, including criticism of the Olympics opening ceremony for featuring drag queens. He expressed his disapproval on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “I cannot support an Olympics that disrespects Christianity and celebrates Satan. I hope these Olympics receive as few viewers as CSPAN.”
King responded to Schneider’s stance by condemning his views and reflecting on their strained relationship, including past issues with her appearance and self-expression. She confirmed that she has no desire to mend their relationship, stating she “doesn’t want to be associated” with him due to his behavior.
