Verve is enhancing its executive team with two important appointments: Liz Parker has been elevated to managing partner, and Jennifer Jones has been named general counsel. In her new role as managing partner, Parker will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s daily functions and strategic planning.
Since joining Verve in 2018, Parker has been pivotal in broadening the agency’s scope into publishing, intellectual property, audio, and media rights. https://talkrelease.com/2024/08/19/a-big-bold-beautiful-journey-starring-margot-robbie-and-colin-farrell-set-for-mothers-day-2025-release/
x Parker has also been instrumental in major deals, including the Chris Farley biopic at New Line and Amazon MGM’s acquisition of Scarlett Johansson-starring “Sasha.” She expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I’m thrilled to step into this role and continue driving Verve’s growth with an incredibly talented team and dynamic culture.”
Jones will take on the dual roles of general counsel and head of business affairs, leveraging her extensive background in global business affairs from Conde Nast and her experience as VP of business affairs at Disney+ and Marvel.
She began her legal career as a litigator at Munger, Tolles & Olson. In her new position, Jones will lead Verve’s legal team and oversee its business affairs, which are critical to the agency’s ongoing expansion.
Co-founders Bryan Besser and Adam Levine praised the new appointments, noting Parker’s integral role in the agency’s success and Jones’s exceptional qualifications. They concluded, “Our success hinges on strong leadership, and with Liz and Jennifer, we are well-positioned for the future.”
