Mubi Acquires U.K. and Germany Rights for Venice Competition Film ‘Harvest,’ Starring Caleb Landry Jones

Mubi has secured distribution rights for “Harvest,” directed by Athina Rachel Tsangari (“Attenberg,” “Chevalier”) and featuring Caleb Landry Jones, in several major territories ahead of its competition premiere at the Venice Film Festival. The film will be released in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Benelux, and Latin America, with specific release dates to be announced soon.

Adapting Jim Crace’s Booker Prize-shortlisted novel, “Harvest” uncovers over seven surreal days in a nameless village that vanishes in an undefined time and place. The story follows Walter Thirsk, a townsman turned farmer, and his confused friend Charles Kent, the lord of the manor, as they confront the disruptive force of modernity.
