After winning their 20th league title, Inter’s previous owners, Suning, defaulted on a loan repayment, leading to the investment fund Oaktree taking control. Despite this change, Oaktree has maintained continuity, including extending coach Simone Inzaghi’s contract to 2026 and securing midfielder Nicolo Barella until 2029.
In other transfer news, Maximilian Beier has signed a five-year deal with Borussia Dortmund following a medical with the Bundesliga club.
