Patricia Arquette and Tom Felton are set to star in They Will Kill You, a thriller under the production of Nocturna Pictures, the horror label recently established by Skydance and Andy and Barbara Muschietti.

New Line Cinema is backing and distributing the film, with Kirill Sokolov directing as production kicks off in mid-September. The film stars Zazie Beetz in a lead role and is described as a darkly comedic horror story.

The plot centers on a woman (played by Beetz) who takes up a housekeeping job in a peculiar New York City high-rise, unaware that the building is notorious for its mysterious disappearances and possibly controlled by a sinister cult. The movie is said to blend elements from Ready or Not and The Raid. Arquette is reportedly playing a central character as the leader of the building’s cooperative, while Felton is cast as one of the cult members.

Sokolov teamed up with Alex Litvak to write the script.

David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger are producing the project through Skydance, with the Muschiettis and Dan Kagan—known for the horror hit Longlegs—also on board as producers. Executive producers include Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder from Nocturna, alongside Sokolov, Litvak, and Carl Hampe.

Arquette, who won an Academy Award for her role in Boyhood, is currently featured in the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series Severance, directed by Ben Stiller. She has also been praised for her performances in Showtime’s miniseries Escape at Dannemora and Hulu’s The Act.

Felton, best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, has recently been cast in the sci-fi film Altered directed by Finnish filmmaker Timo Vuorensola. Arquette’s representation includes Gersh, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Goodman, Genow, while Felton is represented by Gersh, Entertainment 360, Accelerate Management, and Lichter, Grossman.
