Rolls-Royce’s Latest One-Off Is a Spectre Drenched in Bright Yellow

Spectre Semaphore (Rolls-Royce)

Rolls-Royce is showcasing a unique creation at this year’s Monterey event. The standout vehicle is the Spectre Semaphore, a custom-built coupe that features several exclusive touches, including a striking paint job and a vivid two-tone interior.

The eye-catching color, Semaphore Yellow, was specially developed for this project, according to Rolls-Royce. The hood of the car showcases a custom design called “Marble Paint Spill,” which consists of silver lacquer and layers of clear coat arranged to resemble a splattered pool of yellow and silver paint. Rolls-Royce reports that crafting this hood required 160 hours of meticulous work.

The Spectre Semaphore is available for purchase, a rarity for a bespoke Rolls-Royce, making it a one-of-a-kind opportunity for collectors (Rolls-Royce)

Continuing the bold yellow theme, the Spectre Semaphore’s interior features a blend of Lemon Yellow and Citrine Yellow accents on the white seats, doors, and dashboard. Lemon Yellow stitching ties the look together, and even the center dials in the gauge cluster is rendered in yellow.

There are no reported modifications to the drivetrain, so the Spectre Semaphore likely retains the standard dual-motor electric powertrain, delivering 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, along with a range of up to 291 miles. Rolls-Royce describes the Semaphore as embodying “the bold new codes of luxury” sought by their younger, more confident clientele.

If you’re intrigued by this design, you’re in luck. Unlike many bespoke Rolls-Royce models, the Spectre Semaphore has not yet been sold and is available for purchase through any authorized dealer in the U.S. However, it’s a one-of-a-kind creation, so prompt action is advisable. The Spectre Semaphore will make its official debut at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, on August 16 as part of Monterey Car Week.
