Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has revealed a special edition of the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic+ facelift, dubbed the Limited Edition. Available exclusively through the Mercedes-Benz Store online showroom, this variant is priced at RM558,888 (on-the-road, excluding insurance, with 10% ST). True to its name, only 10 units will be offered in the Malaysian market.
Differentiating itself from last year’s limited-run Street Style Edition, this new LE version is hard to miss, sporting a striking AMG green hell magno exterior finish, a first for the compact segment. Its bold appearance is further enhanced by large ‘45 S’ decals on the doors and a prominent AMG crest on the bonnet.
Yellow accents provide a vibrant contrast, appearing on the matte black 19-inch AMG forged wheels with a seven-twin-spoke design unique to this edition. The brake calipers of the AMG high-performance system are finished in glossy black with white AMG logos to match the wheels.
The LE also includes an exclusive AMG fuel cap and a door welcome light that projects the AMG coat of arms onto the ground when entering or exiting the vehicle. Additionally, three AMG exterior equipment packages enhance its styling: the AMG Aerodynamics Package, AMG Night Package, and AMG Night Package II, which adds black chrome details and exclusive touches like darkened struts and door handles.
Inside, the yellow theme continues with Artico/Microcut microfiber AMG performance seats featuring yellow contrast highlights and decorative stitching. This distinctive stitching is also present on the door panels, instrument panel, and AMG performance steering wheel, while the front headrests are embroidered with yellow 45 S emblems. AMG floor mats and illuminated door sills with yellow accents complete the special edition’s unique upgrades.
Mechanically, the A 45 S retains its M139 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, eight-speed AMG Speedshift 8G dual-clutch transmission, and 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. It delivers 421 PS (416 hp) at 6,750 rpm and 500 Nm of torque between 5,000 and 5,250 rpm, achieving a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h.
