Acura’s third-generation RDX is getting a fresh look for 2025, though the updates are quite subtle. This is the second time the crossover has been refreshed since its launch in 2018, following its initial facelift in 2022. For the 2025 model year, the RDX boasts a revised “Frameless” Diamond Pentagon grille with a new mesh design and a streamlined bezel. The crossover now features standard gloss-black trim and new 19-inch wheels in Berlina Black.

It also offers three new exterior color options: Solar Silver Metallic, Canyon River Blue Metallic, and Urban Gray Pearl, which are also available on the updated 2025 MDX. Models equipped with the Advance Package come with body-color lower trim and multi-spoke 19-inch wheels with a Bernie Black machine finish.

A-Spec versions receive a more aggressive appearance with 20-inch wheels and distinctive badging, with the standard A-Spec featuring 10-spoke Shark Gray wheels and the A-Spec Advance offering 20-inch wheels with a Berlina Black machine finish.

Inside, the RDX’s center console has been redesigned, moving and enlarging the cup holders to fit the wireless charging pad, which was previously located in the under-console storage. The 10.2-inch infotainment screen now includes a widescreen mode for better integration with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Advance Package adds premium features like full-leather upholstery, new ambient lighting for the center console, and illuminated door speakers. The RDX continues to use the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system, which remains standard.

The 2025 RDX is expected to reach US dealerships later this month. Although Acura has not yet released the exact pricing for the new model, the 2024 RDX started at $45,700, including a $1,350 destination charge. The 2024 A-Spec was priced at $51,350, and the A-Spec Advance started at $55,500. It’s anticipated that the 2025 version will see only a modest increase in price.
