Sports Illustrated Highlights Celtics Star on Its Cover

Jayson Tatum is still reveling in his first championship win from last month. The Boston Celtics star is savoring his championship glory while gearing up to play for Team USA in the Olympics.

Despite his busy schedule, Tatum managed to fit in a photo shoot with Sports Illustrated, celebrating his first title and solidifying his status as one of the league’s top stars.

Being featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 70th-anniversary issue is a huge achievement for Tatum, adding to his list of accomplishments. This year has been remarkable for the 26-year-old star. He achieved an All-Star appearance, earned All-NBA honors, and led his team to a Finals victory.

Additionally, he was selected for the Olympics, joining LeBron James, Steph Curry, Anthony Edwards, and others in Paris. Even if the statistics don’t fully reflect it, this has been Tatum’s best season.

However, some challenges remain. Critics have pointed out his leadership skills and noted that he missed out on both the Eastern Conference Finals MVP and Finals MVP, which went to his friend Jaylen Brown.

While these criticisms persist, it’s undeniable that Tatum and the Celtics were dominant throughout the season. Now, Tatum aims to continue his winning streak in the Olympics, striving to bring home a gold medal.

Appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated is a huge milestone for Tatum, marking yet another achievement in his impressive career.
