MJF’s recent bout against Will Ospreay on “AEW Dynamite” was a grueling affair that ended with him capturing the International Championship.
Post-match, Bully Ray offered his candid opinions on “Busted Open After Dark,” commending MJF’s performance. “Max never fails to find new ways to impress me,” Bully said.
He also addressed the skepticism from other wrestling veterans who feel MJF is overrated, asserting firmly, “He’s not overrated.”
Bully acknowledged MJF’s flaws but defended him against criticism. “He might come off as a bit arrogant or self-important, and many wrestlers indeed start with that attitude,” Bully remarked.
He highlighted that despite MJF’s brash persona, he is still relatively young and underscored how underrated MJF is in terms of his in-ring prowess.
“MJF’s skills are highly underestimated, and his performances against Danielson and Ospreay, including a 60-minute match, prove just how capable he is.”
As for MJF’s future, with the championship now in his possession, it’s expected that “The Salt of the Earth” will only become more confident and assertive on the next episode of “Dynamite.”
