Booker T States Firm Intentions to Never Retire from In-Ring Action

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, a fixture in the WWE family for years and a prominent presence on NXT television, is making headlines with a bold declaration about his future in professional wrestling.

Despite not having stepped into the ring for a competitive match since early 2023, Booker T insists he’s not done yet, leaving fans to wonder if a return could be on the horizon.

Booker T last graced the ring at the 2023 Royal Rumble, where he made a surprise cameo. His appearance was brief—lasting just 42 seconds before being eliminated by Gunther—but it sparked speculation about a potential comeback.

In a recent interview on the Insight podcast with Chris Van Vliet, the wrestling legend was unequivocal about his future plans. “I’m never gonna retire,” Booker T said with a laugh. “I’m definitely gonna get back in the ring at some point in time to do something. But it’s gonna be here, in Reality of Wrestling or in Saudi [Arabia].”

This statement comes after Trick Williams suggested earlier this year that Booker T should consider one final match. While Booker T turned down the idea of a farewell bout at the time, his comments on the podcast indicate that he might not be ready to hang up his boots just yet.

Fans of the iconic wrestler will be watching closely to see if Booker T’s next move involves a high-profile match, perhaps at one of WWE’s Premium Live Events in Saudi Arabia. For now, it seems that the Hall of Famer is keeping his options open and his spirits high about a future return to the ring.

Booker T’s enduring passion for wrestling and his willingness to consider new opportunities ensure that the speculation about his in-ring future will continue for the foreseeable future.
