JoJo Siwa is gearing up for the release of her debut EP, *Guilty Pleasure*, set to drop on July 12. This new project is an extension of her creative journey, initiated by her single “Karma,” which marked her transition from a child star to a more mature artist. The EP will feature five tracks, including “Karma,” and two previously teased songs, “Choose UR Fighter” and “Guilty Pleasure.”
Siwa showcased “Guilty Pleasure” at Trixie Mattel’s New York City Pride event in Central Park, where she also announced the EP’s release date. Although her live performance received mixed reactions, Siwa was enthusiastic about sharing her new music with fans. The release of the EP will coincide with the premiere of the music video for the title track.
In May, Siwa previewed “Choose UR Fighter” on social media while reflecting on the polarized responses to “Karma.” Despite the backlash, she remained defiant and encouraged her followers to embrace their strength. Her bold message was accompanied by a caption signaling that new music was on the way, building anticipation for her evolving sound.
The *Guilty Pleasure* EP will also include two additional songs, “Balance Baby” and “Yesterday’s Tomorrow’s Today.” These tracks are part of Siwa’s effort to solidify her new artistic identity, moving away from her image as a child star. Her previous music releases, such as her debut single “Boomerang” and three EPs under Republic Records, established her initial musical footprint.
Now 21 years old, JoJo Siwa is signed with Columbia Records, ready to embrace this next chapter in her music career. Her transition reflects a significant growth from her earlier work, promising a fresh and mature perspective in her upcoming EP, *Guilty Pleasure*.
