Volkswagen Jetta 2025: Fresh Look, Same Affordable Price Point ($23,295)

Volkswagen Jetta (Volkswagen)

Volkswagen’s iconic Jetta sedan has undergone a huge transformation for the 2025 model year, boasting a fresh exterior design, enhanced features, and a revamped interior.

The seventh-generation Jetta, which debuted in 2019 and received a minor facelift in 2022, now sports a sleek new front fascia, sleeker LED headlights, and a full-width light bar option on higher trims.

The rear features a new taillight bar, while new 17-inch wheels come standard, with 18-inch options available on SEL and GLI trims.

Inside, the 2025 Jetta showcases a modern “three-line” dashboard design, fresh color options, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen display with standard features like SiriusXM satellite radio and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

While the controversial touch-capacitive controls remain, they are now illuminated, and a traditional steering wheel is forthcoming on the GLI trim.

The powertrain remains unchanged, with the base Jetta featuring a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and the GLI boasting a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine.

However, the manual transmission option has been discontinued on the base Jetta. Every Jetta model comes equipped with VW’s IQ.Drive active safety technology, including forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.

The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI will hit dealerships in Q3 2024, with the base Jetta starting at $23,295, a slight decrease from the previous model. Additional pricing details will be announced closer to the release date.
