Flo Milli’s Energetic Tiny Desk Debut Celebrates Black Music Month

Flo Milli made her debut on NPR’s Tiny Desk, joining Atlanta’s Band of Brothers musicians to mark Black Music Month. The Alabama native delivered a high-energy performance, showcasing tracks from her repertoire with the support of her backing vocalists, the Floettes. She kicked off with hits like “Conceited,” “Bed Time,” “In The Party,” and reminisced about her breakout track “Beef FloMix,” sharing its origins and significance.

Switching gears, Flo Milli closed her set with the soulful “Weak” and an acoustic rendition of “Never Lose Me,” which featured an unreleased verse. This Tiny Desk concert highlighted her versatility and stage presence, drawing applause from the audience for her dynamic performance.

This initiative highlighted NPR’s commitment to elevating the voices of women in music, enhancing their Black Music Month festivities with a diverse array of performances and narratives.
