Citroen’s design language has undergone a serious transformation, starting with the 2022 Oli concept. The brand has shifted away from its signature rounded forms and smooth surfacing, embracing straighter lines, sharper edges, and a retro-inspired double chevron logo. This new styling theme first appeared on the C3 hatch in October 2023 and has now been adopted by the second-generation C3 Aircross.
The 2025 Citroen C3 Aircross boasts a more angular design and a larger build, measuring 4.39m in length, which is 240mm longer than its predecessor. This increased size allows for a third row of seats, enabling the vehicle to accommodate up to seven passengers.
Both the C3 Aircross and C3 hatch in Europe are built on the Smart Car Platform, a cost-effective and EV-ready version of the Stellantis CMP architecture. This platform is also used in the Opel/Vauxhall Frontera and upcoming Fiat models.
While the European and Latin American/Indian versions of the second-generation C3 Aircross share similarities in size and design, they have distinct bodies. The non-European variant retains the classic double chevron logo integrated into the chrome grille bars.
Citroen has yet to disclose the drivetrain options for the new Euro C3 Aircross, but they are expected to be similar to those available in the European C3 hatchback.
