Bad Boys: Ride or Die Scores $100 Million Worldwide Debut

Exciting news for Bad Boys enthusiasts: the dynamic duo of Mike and Marcus is back, and audiences are loving it. The fourth installment, Bad Boys: Ride Or Die, opened to impressive box office numbers, pulling in over $100 million worldwide in its first weekend. This is particularly known in a sluggish summer where major films like Furiosa and The Fall Guy underperformed.

Bad Boys: Ride Or Die raked in $56 million at the US box office, with an additional $48 million coming from international markets, totaling $104 million. This is a huge achievement compared to The Fall Guy’s $65 million and Furiosa’s $59 million. Directed by Adil & Bilall, who also directed Bad Boys For Life and the unreleased Batgirl, the film received generally positive reviews ahead of its release.

The success of Bad Boys: Ride Or Die is a promising sign for future installments and a welcome boost for cinemas worldwide. It also marks a remarkable comeback for Will Smith after a challenging period. The film’s strong performance suggests that audiences still crave the buddy-action genre, even in an era dominated by CGI-heavy blockbusters.

Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see if Bad Boys: Ride Or Die can maintain its momentum and how other upcoming films like Inside Out 2, A Quiet Place: Day One, Twisters, and Deadpool & Wolverine will fare at the box office.

For now, the Bad Boys franchise has reaffirmed its place in the hearts of moviegoers, and we might just be gearing up for another sequel. Who’s ready for Bad Boys: Here We Go Again?
