Edin Terzić has resigned from his position as head coach of Borussia Dortmund, even though he recently led the team to the Champions League final. He mentioned that after a decade with BVB, including five years on the coaching staff and two and a half years as head coach, he felt it was time for a new leader to take over.

Terzić had become Dortmund’s permanent head coach prior to the 2022-23 season after holding various positions within the club since 2018. Under his leadership, the team finished fifth in the Bundesliga in the 2023-24 season, ensuring their qualification for the next year’s Champions League.
