The Alfa Romeo Junior makes its racing debut at the prestigious 1000 Miglia, a iconic event with a rich history. The brand’s connection to this race is strong, with numerous victories over the years.
The Junior joins a lineup of classic Alfa Romeos, including a 1954 1900 Sport Spider and a 1956 1900 Super Sprint, as well as the latest Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport editions.
The Junior is the newest addition to the family, but it’s received a warm welcome. Among the 400 participants, over 50 Alfa Romeos are taking part, making it the most represented Italian marque.
It’s a unique opportunity to see historic Alfas alongside modern iterations like the Junior, which boasts cutting-edge technologies like electric powertrain options, mild-hybrid capabilities, and advanced driver assistance systems.
The Motor1 Italy team is on the ground, covering the event closely. Andrea Farina is driving a 1956 1900 Super Sprint, while Lorenzo Curatti is capturing the behind-the-scenes story of the Junior and other Alfa Romeos in the race. Nicola Larini, a former DTM champion, is behind the wheel of a 1954 1900 Sport Spider.
This gathering of Alfa Romeos is a sight to behold, like an open-air museum on wheels. Join us in celebrating this iconic brand’s heritage and innovation. Share your experiences and tag us on social media!
