Aaron Eckhart is set to return to the Oval Office in the upcoming action feature “Raider,” directed by Simon West of “Con Air” and “Expendables 2” fame. Penned by J. Craig Stiles, the film is produced by Bee Holder Productions and Concourse Media, with Concourse handling sales.
In “Raider,” Eckhart portrays a newly inaugurated U.S. president who uncovers a startling truth: the White House has been under the control of an elite shadow organization for decades.
Refusing to yield to their demands, the president, with the aid of the Secret Service head played by Danny Huston, embarks on a quest to decipher cryptic messages left by his predecessors. He hopes to liberate his family and the nation from the grip of dark forces.
Steve Lee Jones, producing for Bee Holder, praises the lead character as a man of integrity who prioritizes the nation’s interests above all else. With Eckhart reprising his role, and Simon West at the helm, Jones expresses confidence in delivering an exhilarating thriller.
Matthew Shreder, producing for Concourse, describes “Raider” as a gripping blend of “Air Force One” and “The Da Vinci Code,” highlighting Eckhart’s ability to command the screen.
Production is slated to begin this fall in Spain, with Kevin Human, Jeremy Christensen, and Grant Mohrman serving as co-producers, and Joe Di Maio as executive producer.
Eckhart is represented by CAA and Hirsch, Wallerstein, Hayum, Matlof, and Fishman, while Huston is represented by Untitled Entertainment, UTA, and Julian Belfrage Associates.
West is represented by IAG and Barry Tyerman, while Stiles is represented by IAG and CT Media. Michael J. Weiss represents Bee Holder and will serve as production counsel.
