Jhoulys Chacin is Rejoining the Team, While Wilin Rosario is Out Due to Injury

The Colorado Rockies are battling more than just opposing teams on the field, as a viral infection has swept through the clubhouse, landing catcher Wilin Rosario and infielder Josh Rutledge on the 15-day disabled list. Manager Walt Weiss is urging his team to prioritize hygiene, warning that even celebratory high-fives could spread the illness.

Catcher Jordan Pacheco is taking extra precautions, following elementary school wisdom: vitamins, fluids, rest, and frequent handwashing. “You know, pretty much the stuff you learn in elementary school,” Pacheco said. “We got a lecture about that the other day, to make sure you wash your hands because we’re high-fiving each other. Hopefully all the time.”
