Tony and Shahid Khan Eyeing Potential Purchase of WWE

There are reports that Tony and Shahid Khan are contemplating the acquisition of WWE. According to CNBC, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation have confirmed the Khans’ interest in merging AEW with WWE.

The report suggests that the Khans are open to partnering with a media company for the intellectual property, which would facilitate the merger of the two wrestling giants.

Tony and Shahid Khan Are Said to Be Evaluating a WWE Acquisition (WWE)

Although Tony and Shahid have yet to engage in discussions with Vince McMahon or Nick Khan, it has been noted that Vince McMahon might be disinclined to speak with them at all, making the merger idea a “long shot.”

To clarify, there have been no conversations between the Khans and WWE to date. Shahid Khan, for context, has a net worth of $7.56 billion.
