A new viewing option for fans was unveiled just a day before the Yankees kick off their 2023 season. The YES Network, which broadcasts most of the Yankees’ regular season games, announced the launch of a direct-to-consumer service on Wednesday.
This new offering allows fans to watch Yankees games without needing a cable subscription or other streaming services like DirectTV Stream.
Subscribers can choose from a monthly plan at $24.99 or an annual plan at $239.99, available through the YES Network app. This app is accessible online at www.watchyesnetwork.com and on various devices including Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Google TV, and Samsung connected TVs.
For a limited time until April 30, 2023, fans can take advantage of an introductory offer with the monthly subscription priced at $19.99 and the annual plan at $199.99.
Jon D. Litner, CEO of the YES Network, expressed enthusiasm about the new direct subscription option. “We’re excited to offer this new way for fans to access our content,” he said. “For over two decades, YES has delivered top-notch sports coverage, and this direct-to-consumer service will allow us to reach even more fans within our region.”
Fans who prefer traditional cable or DirectTV Stream can continue to use those methods to watch YES Network programming.
