This event drew partners from across the Middle East region to explore the advancements in both UD Trucks’ Croner lineup and Allison Transmission’s innovative technology.
Attendees had the chance to test drive various Croner models on the Dubai Autodrome circuit. Equipped with 5 and 8-liter engines, the Croner vehicles deliver impressive power and acceleration, while the advanced automatic transmission ensures seamless gear shifts and optimal fuel efficiency, enhancing the general driving experience.
Combining the Croner’s powerful engine with Allison Transmission’s state-of-the-art technology offers numerous benefits, including increased productivity, reduced maintenance costs, and improved vehicle uptime, ultimately lowering operational expenses. The Croner range, spanning 11-19 tons, is available with both manual and Allison automatic gearboxes, giving customers a wider range of options.
For waste management companies and other industries, the updated Croner offers flexibility with the LKE series providing 210 HP and 825 Nm or 240 HP and 900 Nm torque, and the PKE series offering 250 HP and 950 Nm torque, all meeting Euro 5 standards. This flexibility allows users to select the power level that best suits their operational needs while benefiting from Allison’s reliable gearbox and real-time performance feedback.
