Audi Middle East is disclosing the highly anticipated S1 e-tron Quattro Hoonitron for the first time in the region at the Museum of the Future. This groundbreaking vehicle first gained fame with its appearance in the Elektrikhana film, where it showcased its drifting prowess on the streets of Las Vegas, driven by the legendary Ken Block.

The film’s global reach has made the S1 Hoonitron an instant sensation among car enthusiasts. The S1 Hoonitron is set to be a highlight in the Museum of the Future’s collection in Dubai, UAE.

This addition marks another exciting chapter in Audi Middle East’s ongoing partnership with the museum, which is now in its second year. The collaboration focuses on showcasing cutting-edge automotive concepts and innovations that align with the UAE’s Net Zero strategic goal for 2050.

Drawing inspiration from the classic 1987 Audi Sport Quattro S1 Pikes Peak, the S1 Hoonitron integrates Audi’s electric vehicle technology from both production models and motorsport. This embodies the brand’s commitment to electrification and sustainability.

Equipped with an all-electric all-wheel drivetrain, the S1 e-tron Quattro Hoonitron features motor-generator units (MGUs) on both the front and rear axles. Powered by four high-voltage batteries from an Audi plug-in hybrid vehicle, the system operates at 800 volts.

Each MGU delivers 250 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque, combining for a total of 500 kW and 640 Nm. The vehicle will be on display at the ‘Tomorrow Today’ exhibition until the end of April 2023, joining other notable Audi show cars like the Audi Vision GT, A6 Avant e-tron concept, Skysphere, and A: I ME.
