Is Matt Riddle poised for a WWE return soon?. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest “Wrestling Observer Radio,” Riddle’s suspension has ended, making him eligible to return to the ring at any time.
However, Meltzer noted that wrestlers not booked for WrestleMania are sometimes held back until after the event, suggesting Riddle’s return might be delayed until after the “Grandest Stage of Them All.”
It’s not confirmed whether Riddle will be part of WrestleMania this year, but he has been absent from television since the December 5 episode of “WWE Raw,” where Solo Sikoa’s attack wrote him out of storylines.
With major storylines now in place, WWE might be waiting for concrete plans for Riddle before bringing him back. This aligns with recent reports indicating his name hasn’t been mentioned backstage recently.
Riddle was initially removed from TV due to a reported suspension for a second drug test violation, though WWE never confirmed this. The RK-Bro star did acknowledge spending time in rehab during this period via social media.
Interestingly, Riddle posted a video on Twitter of him singing “Freedom isn’t Free” from “Team America: World Police,” possibly hinting at his technical availability for a return but still being held back by creative. With Sikoa currently lacking a confirmed match at WrestleMania, a storyline involving Riddle seeking revenge could be a potential direction.
