MG Motor Partners with Inter Emirates Motors to Debut the MG One

The inaugural generation of MG Motor’s brand-new MG ONE has made its debut in the Middle East, offered in three trims by Inter Emirates Motors, a branch of Ali & Sons Holding LLC and MG’s official UAE distributor.

This 2023 model enhances MG’s expanding lineup, delivering superior style, advanced technology, and travel comfort at attractive prices. The MG ONE is built on SAIC Motor’s latest modular SIGMA architecture platform, featuring a 1.5 Turbo engine that produces 181hp and 285Nm of torque, propelling the vehicle to a maximum speed of 195 km/h.

Designed for optimal interior space utilization, the SIGMA architecture achieves up to 70% efficiency by compressing mechanical components, balancing both exterior and interior dimensions.

This platform accommodates various powertrains, including all-electric, hybrid, and traditional internal combustion engines, creating an intelligent vehicle experience for MG’s latest offerings.

Sporting a bold design, the mid-size MG ONE SUV features a three-dimensional front grill, sharp LED headlamps, a dual-tone color scheme, a low and wide stance, a sloping roofline, a coupe-like silhouette, split rear lights, and a distinctive sport spoiler with a cut-out.

The interior of the MG ONE focuses on sound and light technology, appealing to tech-savvy urban customers. It includes a surround-type trip screen, Arkamys sound system, dual-colored sports seating, and a drive-by-wire gear system.

Soft padding throughout ensures occupant comfort, with ample storage and a wireless mobile phone charger available in top-tier models. Key features include leather seats, a 12.3″ virtual cluster panel with a trip computer, a six-way electric driver seat with lumbar support, four-way electric passenger seats, a panoramic sunroof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, GPS navigation, and multiple airbags.

Standard features encompass cruise control, push-button ignition, keyless entry, and a rear-view camera, with a 360-degree parking view camera offered in premium models.

Safety is paramount in the MG ONE, boasting a body structure with over 65% high-strength steel to absorb collision energy. The Electronic Stability Program integrates eight safety functions, including ABS, EBD, CBC, TCS, VDC, HAZ, HHC, and BDW, ensuring stability and safety under extreme driving conditions.
