Rolls-Royce Achieves Record Success in 2022 with Unprecedented Sales Growth and Bespoke Commission Achievements

In 2022, Rolls-Royce experienced an exceptional year of growth and success, driven by a remarkable increase in the value of Bespoke commissions and sustained high demand for all models.

This year marked an unprecedented level of sales growth across multiple regions, with remarkable advancements in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, the USA, and Europe, where the luxury automaker saw remarkable year-over-year increases.

The appeal of Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke personalisation options reached new heights in 2022, with clients paying an average of approximately half a million Euros for their unique, custom-designed vehicles.

This surge in demand not only highlights the allure of Rolls-Royce’s unparalleled Bespoke services but also signifies a substantial contribution to the company’s total profitability and value for its principal shareholder.

The Middle East emerged as the leading region for Bespoke commissions, showcasing a variety of highly individualised and extravagant creations. In response to this strong demand, Rolls-Royce inaugurated an exclusive Private Office in Dubai—its first outside of Goodwood.

This new office aims to bring the importance of Rolls-Royce closer to its discerning clients in the region, with plans for additional Private Offices around the world in the near future.

The Americas continued to be Rolls-Royce’s largest market, achieving serious growth and surpassing previous sales records. Meanwhile, Greater China, despite facing some challenges, remained a crucial market, showing a slight decline from the previous year’s stellar results but still maintaining a good position.

Europe, despite geopolitical uncertainties, saw record sales in key markets like the UK and Germany, while the Asia-Pacific region also set new sales records.

As Rolls-Royce celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Goodwood facility in January 2023, the company reflected on its remarkable evolution from offering a single model, the Phantom, and producing just one car per day, to achieving record-breaking sales figures today.

This transformation is a testament to Rolls-Royce’s strategic focus on sustainable growth, meticulous management, and innovative brand reinvention over the past decade.

Rolls-Royce remains committed to embodying the highest standards of luxury, craftsmanship, and engineering excellence, reflecting both its rich heritage and forward-looking vision as a leading luxury automobile manufacturer.
