Hyundai Motor America, in collaboration with Hyundai Capital America, has introduced an innovative electric vehicle subscription service named Evolve+ at the 2023 Chicago Auto Show.
This new initiative offers a flexible and economical alternative for consumers eager to experience Hyundai’s cutting-edge electric vehicles without the constraints of a long-term purchase or lease agreement.
Evolve+ represents a serious shift in how customers can access electric vehicles, providing a month-to-month subscription model that encompasses a comprehensive package of services.
For a starting monthly fee of $699 for the Kona Electric and $899 for the IONIQ 5, subscribers receive 1,000 miles of usage, insurance coverage, maintenance, registration, and roadside assistance.
This all-inclusive package allows subscribers to enjoy the latest in electric vehicle technology while avoiding the commitment of a long-term contract.
Contrary to traditional subscription services, which often require customers to commit to a minimum term of three to five months, Evolve+ offers unmatched flexibility with the option to cancel at any time during the subscription period.
Currently available at select dealerships across six states, Evolve+ is set to expand to additional locations by the end of the year. Prospective subscribers can locate participating dealers through the Evolve+ app.
This new service caters to a variety of short-term vehicle needs, such as for “snowbirds” requiring a car for their winter residences, college students returning home for the summer, or professionals on temporary assignments.
Evolve+ offers a competitively priced alternative to traditional leasing and purchasing options, being approximately 50% less expensive than daily car rentals.
For those who find themselves satisfied with their Evolve+ experience and wish to make a longer-term commitment, Hyundai dealers offer opportunities for leasing or purchasing the vehicle.
With Evolve+, Hyundai is not only broadening access to electric vehicles but also redefining vehicle subscription services with a flexible, customer-focused approach that addresses the diverse needs of today’s drivers.
