After the news of Jay Briscoe’s (Jamin Pugh) passing last week, a wave of tributes poured in. The announcement came from AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan.
On the podcast What Happened When, Conrad Thompson shared that he has heard Khan is committed to ensuring that Jay Briscoe’s family is well taken care of.
Thompson mentioned, “I don’t mean to reveal any secrets, but there are strong rumors from reliable sources that Tony Khan will indeed do right by Jay’s family.”
He added, “While Tony might not want this information public, and it’s not Tony Schiavone’s place to discuss it, I will say that despite the criticism often directed at Tony, he proves to be genuinely supportive in difficult times.”
