Bentley Motors has achieved another record-breaking year of sales, a milestone propelled by the introduction of new models, the increasing appeal of Mulliner personalization, and the launch of new hybrid vehicles as part of the Beyond100 strategic plan, which aims for full electrification by 2030.

In 2022, the luxury automaker saw a 6% rise in vehicle deliveries in the Middle East, with 968 cars delivered compared to 915 in the previous year. This growth underscores the region’s high demand for bespoke luxury vehicles.

The Bentayga has solidified its position as Bentley’s best-selling model, achieving record sales in its sixth year and securing its place as the world’s most successful luxury SUV. The Bentayga accounted for 42% of Bentley’s total sales, reflecting continued customer enthusiasm for this model.

The Continental GT and GT Convertible also maintained strong sales, contributing 30% to the total sales figures. The introduction of the GT Speed, noted for its exceptional performance, further boosted this segment, with the model representing 31% of the Continental GT lineup.

Additionally, the Flying Spur, Bentley’s premier luxury four-door grand tourer, made up 28% of total sales. This success was fueled in part by the new Flying Spur Hybrid, which has become Bentley’s most advanced and eco-friendly grand tourer.

Since its debut, the Flying Spur Hybrid has constituted 30% of the Flying Spur sales, with the UK leading the way as the highest market for this model, with two-thirds of Flying Spurs sold there being hybrid versions.

Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, commented on the impressive results: “Despite another year of challenges, Bentley has not only met but exceeded expectations, achieving a third consecutive year of record sales. This success reflects our brand’s strength, operational excellence, and the strong global demand for our models.”
