Suspected NFL Child Abuser Attacks Damar Hamlin Before Retreating: ‘I’m Not One to Judge’

Initially, Damar Hamlin was the focus of prayers; now, he’s facing criticism. The Buffalo Bills safety, who survived a life-threatening cardiac arrest on the field, touched hearts with his emotional appearance and speech at the NFL Honors ceremony last week.

Surrounded by the medical team that saved him, Hamlin expressed his gratitude. He also attended the Super Bowl, sparking wild conspiracy theories suggesting he was replaced by a clone or body double.

Adding to the controversy, former NFL running back Adrian Peterson expressed his disapproval of Hamlin’s choice of attire—a $3,150 Takashi Murakami jacket featuring a crucifix and an altered image of Jesus. Peterson took to social media to criticize Hamlin, accusing him of blasphemy and disrespect.

Peterson, who has his own legal past, tweeted: “You should be thanking God son! This is Blasphemy!! We all fall short but cmon man! I find this disrespectful!! #grateful #goddid.”

Right-wing commentator Stew Peters also weighed in, claiming that Hamlin’s jacket mocked religious symbols.

Former Jaguars running back Fred Taylor suggested Peterson address Hamlin directly instead of airing grievances publicly. Taylor noted that young people sometimes make mistakes and advised Peterson to approach the situation more constructively.

Peterson later acknowledged his approach might have been misdirected. He apologized on Instagram, stating that his intention was never to judge but to share his opinion. He expressed respect and understanding towards Hamlin, emphasizing that his critique was driven by his personal beliefs and concern for Hamlin’s influence.
