In a video shared on Twitter, Wallace, clad in a Chiefs sweatshirt and cap, declared his intentions: “It’s the final football game of the season, and my team is up against the Eagles. You know what’s coming.
People have been giving me grief, asking why I’m supporting the Chiefs. Well, I’m doing it because I’m a true fan of my team. Once this game is over, I want everyone to join me at the parade I’m planning for the Chiefs in Philly. It’ll probably be right after the game. We’ll see how it goes and what happens.”
Wallace’s NBA career spanned 15 years, with remarkable stints in Washington, Portland, Atlanta, Detroit—where he earned a championship—Boston, and New York.
