Hyundai has once again demonstrated its exceptional appeal in the automotive industry by securing a place in the Brand Keys Brand Loyalty Leaders survey’s Top 20 list for 2023. Hyundai is the only car manufacturer to make this prestigious list this year, a testament to its enduring commitment to customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
According to Robert Passikoff, founder and president of Brand Keys, the aspect of brand loyalty is increasingly shaped by emotional connections rather than mere transactional interactions.
“Because expectations are more emotionally based today, brands have difficulty identifying and tracking them,” Passikoff explained. “But there are ‘hero’ brands that pretty much ‘own’ the #1 spot in their categories long enough to earn a ‘perennial loyalty’ designation. Hyundai is one of those brands.”
The Brand Keys survey, conducted annually, is a comprehensive measure of consumer brand loyalty across various industries. For 2023, the survey interviewed 113,550 consumers aged 16 to 65 from the nine US Census Regions.
Participants assessed 987 brands across 110 categories, selecting those they engage with and evaluating their loyalty based on emotional and psychological factors.
Hyundai’s consistent presence in the Top 20 since 2017 highlights the brand’s remarkable ability to foster long-term consumer trust and satisfaction.
This achievement underscores Hyundai’s success in not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations through both innovative products and engaging customer experiences.
