Reports suggest AEW is on the verge of launching a new weekly television show airing on Saturday nights. F4W’s Andrew Zarian has hinted that the show could occupy the 6:05 pm EST timeslot, which would be appreciated by fans of classic WCW/NWA programming.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Saturday show is expected to start by July:
“The schedule in June hasn’t been announced yet other than the Canadian shows, so it’s unclear if this (7/14 in Regina, Saskatchewan) will be the first Saturday taping or if the Saturday show will begin earlier. However, unless something important changes, the Saturday show is planned to debut by July at the latest,” Meltzer reported.
