Mickie James Will Be Present at WrestleMania 39 Night 2 as an Attendee

During a recent chat with Denise Salcedo on the “Instinct Culture” podcast, Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James reflected on the vibrant state of women’s wrestling and shared her excitement about attending WrestleMania 39 as a fan for the first time next month.

James highlighted the remarkable developments in women’s wrestling, pointing out Lita’s role as a Tag Team Champion alongside Becky Lynch and Saraya’s (formerly Paige) return to the ring in AEW after a career-threatening injury.

She also celebrated Impact Wrestling’s flourishing women’s division and the bright talent within it. “It’s incredible to witness such a dynamic period in 2023,” James said. “We see legends like Lita and Trish Stratus gearing up for WrestleMania, a huge moment for women I deeply admire. At IMPACT, our tag team scene is thriving, and AEW has brought Saraya back from retirement—what a magical time for professional wrestling.”

James also disclosed her plans for WrestleMania 39, noting her intention to attend Night Two as a spectator. “I’ll be in LA for WrestleCon and am eagerly hoping to see my friends in action,” she mentioned. “This will be my first time attending WrestleMania as a fan, having only been there as a talent before. I’m really looking forward to experiencing it live.”

In addition, James will participate in WrestleCon and defend her Impact Knockouts World Championship in a four-way match at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United: Only The STRONG Survive, facing off against Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, and Miyu Yamashita.
