Spy Photos Show New Audi A3 Hatchback Camouflaging Design Changes

Audi is gearing up to refresh its fourth-generation A3, despite its relative youth, with spy photos capturing the camouflaged prototype undergoing cold-weather testing.

The new iteration hints at potential changes, including a possible new variant called the A3 Allstreet, adopting a slightly elevated stance akin to the A1 Allstreet and possibly replacing the Allroad designation on smaller, rugged models.

The camouflaged A3 prototype suggests subtle updates to its fascias and lower body, likely refining the already sleek design. This particular model appears to ride higher than the standard A3 Sportback hatch, indicating a focus on versatility and off-road capability.

Expected to debut alongside other redesigned variants like the A3 sedan, S3, and RS3, the lineup will receive a mid-cycle makeover. While exterior tweaks are evident, interior changes remain undisclosed, leaving room for potential updates to cabin layout and technology.

Regarding powertrains, Audi may retain the current lineup’s offerings.
