Ford has swiftly responded to Tesla’s recent price cuts on the Model 3 and Model Y by lowering the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) across its Mustang Mach-E lineup.
Today, the Blue Oval announced reduced prices for all models, although this adjustment coincides with a $200 increase in the destination charge. Despite these changes, the 2023 prices, while cheaper than before, still exceed those of 2022.
For instance, the 2023 Mustang Mach-E Select RWD Standard Range now starts at $47,495, which reflects a $700 decrease from its previous price, adjusted to accommodate the new destination charge. This amount includes the $1,500 destination fee.
Meanwhile, the top-tier GT Extended Range with the GT Performance Package sees a serious reduction, now priced at $71,495—$5,900 less than before, which adjusts to $5,700 when factoring in the increased destination charge. Detailed pricing adjustments are outlined below:
Mustang Mach-E Select RWD Standard Range: $47,495 (includes $1,500 destination charge), down $700 from the previous pricing. Mustang Mach-E GT Extended Range with GT Performance Package: $71,495 (includes $1,500 destination charge), reduced by $5,900 from the previous pricing.
Customers eagerly awaiting delivery of their Mach-E will automatically benefit from these adjusted prices. Additionally, Ford will retroactively apply the new pricing to any vehicles sold after January 1, 2023, and already in the possession of customers, with direct communication to affected buyers.
In addition to price reductions, Ford has made the Extended Range Battery option more accessible, reducing its cost from $8,600 to $7,000. However, prices for the Nite Pony Appearance Package and GT Performance Pack remain unchanged at $800 and $6,000, respectively.
