Facelifted 2024 Audi Q8 Seen in Spy Photos Testing in Snowy Environment

Recently, spy photographers captured the upcoming refreshed Audi Q8 undergoing winter testing, clad in black with camouflage covering key design elements like headlights and parts of the grille. These images provided a fresh glance into the anticipated updates for the 2024 model year release.

Compared to earlier close-up shots, the camouflage pattern has changed, but key elements like the U-shaped grille pattern, revised air intakes, and the signature new light design remain consistent.

At the rear, the taillight graphics and masked light bar follow the previously seen styling, with serious changes including the rear diffuser’s shape and the apparent addition of a trailer hitch.

Unfortunately, this round of spy shots didn’t reveal interior updates, though it’s expected Audi is refining elements like the infotainment system and trim options. The design tweaks for the Q8 are expected to be subtle, aligning it more closely with the aesthetics of the 2024 SQ8 E-Tron, as evidenced by comparisons with recent spy photos of the latter.

The refreshed Q8 is slated for a later this year debut, with an updated SQ8 or potentially an RS Q8 following closely thereafter. These models will join the lineup of ICE-powered versions assembled in Bratislava, Slovakia, while E-Tron variants are produced in Brussels, Belgium, alongside the Q8 E-Tron Sportback.

Since its debut in 2019, the Q8 has shared a platform with models like the Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne, solidifying its position as Audi’s flagship SUV known for its versatile capabilities and striking design, highlighted by options like the eye-catching Java Green paint.
