After leaving AEW in February 2022, Cody and Brandi Rhodes pursued separate paths, with Cody being the only one to return to WWE so far. During an appearance on the “Out of Character with Ryan Satin” podcast, Cody discussed his wife Brandi and their independent careers. He mentioned,
“We’ve always aimed to do things individually. Even in one of her last interviews before I left, someone mocked me in the ring, and she handled it on her own without needing my presence. She can definitely defend herself and fight her own battles.”
Cody also highlighted Brandi’s support for his career, both on and off-screen, indicating her involvement in his WWE comeback. When asked about the possibility of Brandi returning to WWE, Cody remained vague but open, saying,
“I wouldn’t rule it out, but she absolutely loves watching what I’m doing. She’s got some projects she’s working on quietly, unrelated.” Cody hinted at Brandi’s secret projects without giving details, urging fans to remember that in wrestling, “never say never.”
Brandi previously worked as a ring announcer for WWE under the name Eden Stiles, from 2011 and again from 2013 to 2016.
