As the series premiered over a year ago, here is a quick recap of all the episodes in chronicle order. Season 1 Episode 1, “The Bunny Trap,” started with introducing Gemma and Terry as private investigators, but not the ones that solve crimes, but make the investigation messier. However, another obstacle is thrown in the laps of this comedic duo as they have a priceless collector’s item that the deadly Bunnyman would go to any length to obtain. Gemma sets an entrapment for The Bunnyman while Terry steers his own unskillful investigation.
Season 1 Episode 2, “Evil Under the Bun,” saw how Gemma and Terry valiantly went from bunnies to bakers when they were charged with investigating a poisoned pastry incident as two competing baking families escalated their long-standing enmity. Season 1 Episode 3, titled “Dales of the Unexpected,” is the series finale in which a sick serial killer is on the run, and only Terry and Gemma’s coach tour knowledge can help police discover the culprit. Will they be able to decipher the clues he leaves behind and apprehend the psychopath before dead litter the Yorkshire Dales? This season is not connected to the storyline of the previous series, but it is always better to have a quick look to become familiar with the premise of the show.
The latest “Murder, They Hope Season 2 Episode 1” is titled “Can’t See The Blood For The Trees.” It will be a thriller/comedy that will leave the fans giggling and gasping simultaneously while the duo showcases they’re tried and tested recipe of portraying their characters expertly.

Murder They Hope Season 2 Episode 1: Spoilers

This episode will feature an exciting storyline. While Gemma and Terry travel towards their marriage ceremony, the former pulls a wild card and detours them to a couples counseling retreat where death threats have been delivered. Although working incognito, a portion of the therapeutic process stresses their bond, and when one of the group members is discovered dead, the duo is left stuck in the moors with the other visitors and a rising victim count.
As camp directors Sandra (Vicki Pepperdine) and Neil (Ramon Tikaram) begin their unconventional therapeutic procedures, fractures begin to appear. All the while, Gemma and Terry keep a careful eye on all the other pairs, including political zealots Aaron (Hugh Dennis) and Diana (Tamzin Outhwaite), influencer Emma (Danielle Vitalis) and her patient spouse Darren (Cole Anderson-James), and mother and father of six children, Devon (Dan Skinner) and Beatrice (Isy Suttie).
Gemma views this as an excellent chance to advertise her new crime podcast, but Terry is disappointed that he will skip out on having a complimentary pre-wedding spa. They must strive to resolve the mystery before their romance is destroyed. In the meantime, a strange lady (Claire Skinner) lurks on the couples’ retreat’s outskirts, and Willy Watkins (Lee Mack) vows vengeance.
Who's ready for more?… #MurderTheyHope is BACK from Monday 24th October at 9pm for three nights and this time Terry and Gemma are (hopefully) getting married. But before they can say "I do", they head to a couples retreat and must solve the murder of a wedding guest! pic.twitter.com/fCaJ4bCXAM
