Undead Unluck is a Japanese manga that was written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. Since January 2020, it has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump and collected in thirteen tankōbon volumes as of September 2022. 2023 will also see this manga being adapted into an anime, which will surely leave the fans satisfied and wanting more at the same time.
The story follows Fuuko Izuma and Andy. Fuuko Izumo, a little girl, has been living in isolation for ten years since an incident occurred. The accident left 200 people dead, along with her parents, when she was just at the tender age of 8. This leaves Fuuko completely hopeless, but she hangs on until her favorite manga finishes, after which she plans to commit suicide. However, she also possesses a troubling ability, which brings bad luck to any person who comes into contact with her flesh. This ability is a cause of constant anxiety for her.
She has an encounter with an “undead” guy who possesses regenerative talents and wants to die in the greatest way possible, despising his everlasting life. Due to the man’s undead nature, she names him Andy, and they begin to collaborate. However, trouble soon comes knocking as they are pursued by an organization called the Union.
Undead Unluck Chapter 132: Preview
The chapter breaks to the readers the death of Juiz, which is pretty hard on Victor, as she dies in his arms. She sacrifices herself to save the world, as Sun would have destroyed it if not for her. She was able to hold Sun for five minutes. That left the warriors with a time span of three minutes, and if their efforts resulted in failure, they would perish as well and meet the same fate as that Juiz.
Victor, furious over Juiz’s death, tries to take revenge as he awakens his new power. He uses the unbreakable blade in order to make Sun pay. Izumo is also seen grieving the death of Juiz. He seemed to be completely overtaken by the rebellion. They believe that the warriors convened by Juiz before her death can help them win this battle, and the best way to honor her death would be to defeat the Sun, a goal she gave her life for.
Victor feels extremely responsible for winning the war, as then only will Juiz’s sacrifice will be worth something. This makes him fight God Sun with all he has. Their bond of 455.4 billion years will definitely be missed.
Undead Unluck Chapter 132: Spoilers
The readers believe that Ruin and Seal were not portrayed with the same length and breadth in this arc and expect to see much more of them in the upcoming chapters. Victor continues fighting in order to keep the Sun at bay. However, he reminisces about the past. They always come out of every battle better than before, their skills honed, but losing Juiz in this battle was something he never anticipated.
Exploring this arc of the series might be the main theme of the upcoming chapter, as to how this death will be felt. They are also trying to stop the Sun from sending flames to earth, and Tatiana intervenes as well, putting her life in danger and using unmove on Sun. They will definitely try to come up with more strategies and moves in order to defeat the Sun in the upcoming episode, which may or may not see more sacrifices from the already existing characters.
