Chucky is a television series that includes Zackary Arthur, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Teo Briones, and Brad and Dourif as the main cast. The show is a sequel to Cult of Chucky and is produced by Mallory Westfall, Mitch Engel, and Todd Copps. The series’ first season was aired on 12 October 2021 with a 7.3 rating on IMDB. It consists of 8 episodes, with the last one being aired on 30 November 2021. The show was telecasted on Syfy and USA Network. The second season of Chucky was recently aired on 5 October 2022.
A boy named Jake Wheeler, who is 14 years old, buys a doll from a yard at a sale. His main objective was to use the doll in his art project, but he later found out the harsh truth about the doll. It was until a party he attends with Lexy that Jake catches Chucky trying to stab Lexy in her back, but because of his quick thinking, Lexy is saved. And after that, we witness murders happening throughout the city, with Jake being one of the suspects. Soon we also see Jack’s friend being involved with him in the series. The show tries to bring back Charles’s (Chucky’s name) past. And how he turned from a normal child to a mass murderer. The show also put light on sexual abuse, bullying, and domestic violence.
Chucky Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
At the start of the episode, we see Tiffany waking up Nica, whose limbs have been amputated because Tiffany wanted to keep Nica by her side while also making sure Chucky does not pose Nica again. Then Tiffany takes a knife out and cuts her hand just so that by seeing blood, she can bring out Chucky, who might be inside Nica. After threatening Tiffany, he turns back to Nica.
In the church, we see Jake, Devon, and Lexy attending a sermon. Later they met up with the priest, where they received their clothes and went to their separate rooms. In the room, Lexy meets up with a girl, and they have a little chat. After this, she confronts Trevor and insults him, but to her surprise, Trevor is changed; he has become calmer.
They attend their catholic class, where they are told about sins and forgiveness.
In the church school, one of the nuns opens up a present that the church receives from its devotee. After opening up the wrapper, the present is a Chucky doll. Unknown of the danger the nun ignores the doll and resumes her work. Then suddenly pop up in front of the nun and scares her; after 10 seconds, the nun dies of shock. At Tiffany’s home, a stranger appears and asks her about Nica and whether she has seen any girl who has run from the mental hospital. In response, she denied any encounter and went inside her home.
Later, Jack is called up by the priest in his room and asked to read the holy book. But the problem is, he has to read it with Chucky in the room. After the priest has gone, he talks to Chucky and asks him about his motive, but to Jake’s surprise, Chucky didn’t kill him and took a photo of him before he left through the chimney. Next, we see Lexy in her room taking drugs in her room while Chucky takes a photo of her.
After this, we see Jack and Devon going into the bathroom, where Chucky suddenly jumps on Jack’s neck, making him lose his balance and fall to the floor. As Chucky is on Jack’s back, he takes out a knife and tries to stab him; just before he can end Jack’s life, Devon kicks him with his full strength and makes Chucky hit the wall. This only makes Chucky angry, and he fights against them. Just before the end of the episode, we see Chucky standing on top of Devon while holding a knife.
